Tongue Imaging Analysis
The Tongue Imaging system looks to enhance the tongue diagnosis of TCM.
After taking a photo of the patient's tongue with the device to ensure consistency, the image is processed with a patented software and a tongue colour index, coating index and shape parameter is established
The patented colour imaging processing ensures high quality colour images.

After colour correction according to international standards, CIE-2000 applied.

CIE (Commision on Illuminations) defined as delta value is the inaccuracy to colour reference ideal with ideal being a value of 0.
Delta values of 3% cannot be identified by the human eye.

After Processing
Before processing the image of the tongue will register a delta value of above 12. In this example it is 13.98.

After processing however the picture is corrected to an average of delta value of 4. In this example 4.11
